CHECK OUT: 2022's Coolest PC Games You Forgot About

The Best Xbox Game Pass PC Games You Missed Out On

The full list of available Game Pass games is massive and increasingly more difficult to keep track of. More and more developers and publishers are joining forces with Microsoft and Xbox, with the intent of giving you as much bang for your buck as humanly possible.

Of course, if you're not yet a subscriber, you can get a stellar Game Pass PC deal right here at 2Game. That'll get you right up to speed, and allow you to play all the games featured in this article! That's right - you're potentially mere minutes away from having several months' worth of gaming goodness.

Art of Rally

Art of Rally looks rather simple, yes, but it's one of the finest rally racing games on the market right now. While its bird's eye view may betray many rally gaming conventions, this is a hardcore rallying game from top to bottom. You get to choose between over 50 revered rally cars and race them across a whopping 72 tracks, from Finland to Kenya. It's a massive, comprehensive racing experience without equal, and it should be on every racing fan's gaming shortlist.

Edge of Eternity

Edge of Eternity is a turn-based JRPG with a heavily modernized veneer. Players hoping to experience an all-new universe inspired by titles such as Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles, yet wish to avoid the trappings of a long-lasting franchise, ought to give this one a shot. It doesn't redefine any genre tropes, really, but it serves up a delightful JRPG experience with some novelties added in for good measure.

FAR: Changing Tides

A direct follow-up to FAR: Lone SailsChanging Tides is a new game set in the same post-apocalyptic universe. You are effectively tasked with the maintenance and control of a universal traversal platform, except this time, you'll sail across actual seas, rather than red, irradiated sand. The vessel itself transforms from sailing to submarine mode, depending on the challenge at hand, and the game delivers a meditative gameplay loop you'll find virtually nowhere else.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker

Having recently talked about Hardspace: Shipbreaker, we're still under its effect. This is a single-player disassembly game where, quite simply, you need to take apart spaceships and extract valuable materials from their chassis'. Equipped with just a few multitool items, such as a high-intensity laser, you need to pick apart spaceship carcasses on the clock, and simply see how far down the narrative hole you can get. The whole experience is rather serene for the most part, except for some dynamic disaster instances.

Infernax

Infernax is one of the finest parodies of classic video games ever made. It's a kinda-sorta Metroidvania experience, though one that knows precisely just how seriously it needs to take itself. Or, rather, to do the opposite when the situation calls for it. It's a game that allows you to both face consequences and consequence faces, depending on your choices, and it's almost entirely unique in this regard. Those who are in a retro-gaming mood ought to take note, because Infernax is downright phenomenal.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

The most high-profile game on this list is certainly Guardians of the Galaxy, and though it's an incredible game, it suffered due to the existence of Marvel's Avengers, which was a flop in more ways than one. Guardians is, thankfully, the polar opposite of Avengers. It's a dedicated solo experience with a delightful story and impeccable banter, and one could argue that it's genuinely better than either of the two admittedly stellar Guardians of the Galaxy movies. A tall order, we know, but it fits the bill!

Mortal Shell

Short, brutal, and appropriately cosmically concerning, Mortal Shell is a lovely game. It's a Soulslike in more ways than not. In fact, it can be all too easy to mistake it for any number of other Soulslike wannabes on the market. However, Mortal Shell has a fair few tricks of its own. It's a focused, linear experience. One that tells a fixed story. That, however, is its strong suit, and the biggest draw it has over any of its competitors. If you've been avoiding other titles in this niche so far, but you're already done with Elden Ring, give Mortal Shell a whirl.

Sable

An exploration-focused puzzle game, Sable is unlike most other things you could play today. The game takes place in a sandy, post-apocalyptic hellscape where remainders of civilization loom close. It's up to you to explore them, of course. Along the way, you'll reveal a strangely cozy narrative and upgrade your hoverbike. All while enjoying truly staggering visuals that may remind you of comic book classics, such as the work of Mobius. If you need a comparison, then Sable is rather similar to Journey - another accomplished adventure game.

Starbound

Despite its legacy, Starbound is no Terraria. In fact, it's markedly worse than Terraria in most ways. One thing it does way better, however, is its flexibility. This little bundle of joy can be every bit as adventurous or cozy as you want to make it. Whether you aim to cosplay an interstellar mercenary or a simple farmer, the game lets you do it. And, with more community mods than you could shake a plasma sword at, there's always something new to upgrade your game with.

Super Lucky's Tale

Are you, too, yearning for a classic 3D platformer? Want a wacky video game character that's bigger than life? Super Lucky's Tale may have gone under the radar in most respects, but it's a truly amazing game with a likable mascot. Something that we've sorely been missing over the past two decades! A charming 3D platformer that'll bring veteran gamers back to the gaming tropes of yesteryear, all the while keeping younger gamers busy.
