So, you're playing One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, and you're looking for a One-Punch Man trainer to help you get through a difficult section? This game as a semblance of that included, but it's different than you might expect. Naturally, we'll explain as we go along. Perhaps it's just what you're looking for, and you won't even need to download suspicious executable files off questionable websites this time around!
If you'd like to learn more about the One-Punch Man game in general, be sure to consult our launch article and the related 'everything-we-know' piece, as they're filled to the brim with useful info. If you're already well-aware of all that, just keep scrolling!
We're being cheeky - bear with us. If trainers are supposed to be (borderline) cheats, Bandai Namco has integrated the ultimate One-Punch Man trainer in the game by default! You may have guessed as much, but it's Saitama we're talking about.
The title says as much, to be sure, but you might imagine that not even the titular super-hero will be able to straight-up insta-gib anyone opposing him. Wrong. Dude's not been nerfed at all for the purposes of this game, and when he makes an appearance in a match, things get done. There is a small caveat to keep in mind, of course, but if you equip Saitama in your combat crew, you'll generally be able to destroy your opponents when the time comes.
The catch is that he can't spawn-in immediately. Instead, you'll have to survive a set amount of time with the remaining two characters. During that time, Saitama will be running towards you to offer assistance, and his arrival period is the longest of all combatants in this game. So not a trainer per se, sure, but it might as well be once Saitama finally gets to you. At that time, he's essentially unbeatable and will take down any opponent in a single punch. No, you read that right - this is an integrated, moderately-balanced cheat mode we've got here. Fun!
Surprising as this may be, A Hero Nobody Knows isn't actually about the titular ultra-super-hero himself. Instead, players get to create their own avatars, and Saitama falls slightly by the wayside. Having said that, One-Punch Man is an unlockable character! All you need to do is progress through the storyline normally, and finish the mission in which you control him for the first time.
Afterwards, you'll be able to use this awesome One-Punch Man trainer in any of the game's many modes. This includes multiplayer, too! Just keep in mind what we said above: if you equip Saitama as a fighter you'll essentially use two combatants in regular combat. Your job will mostly be to survive until One-Punch Man arrives and cleans up the field for you. It's easy once Saitama arrives, but might be problematic beforehand.
Isn't it? Arguably, it's better! Saitama's incredibly powerful skill-set is offset by the need to wait for him to arrive. However, it's right there in the game by default. You don't need to fiddle with ominous downloads and whatnot. This means you're not risking your data along the way.
We advise against using game trainers in general, as they're often loaded with malware you do not wish to infect your PC with. As with everything else on the Internet, though, your mileage will vary. At least you're good to go with this impromptu One-Punch Man trainer! Kind of. We hope you find this information useful, in any case. Have fun!
