There is a whole bunch of Legendary Lords in Total War: Warhammer 2, especially if you own the DLC. Some of them are downright overpowered on the battlefield, and others have amazing bonuses they bring to the campaign. However, did you ever stop to consider which are the most badass Legendary Lords in Total War: Warhammer 2?

The first badass Legendary Lord of Warhammer 2

Warhammer Ungrim Ironfist

You know what's always badass? Dwafs. And you know who's the most badass amongst them? Ungrim Ironfist. I mean, come on. Just look at that glorious beard. But in all seriousness, he really is one of the best Warhammer Legendary Lords. He is a Slayer and a King. And Slayer Kings aren't exactly common. Actually, Ungrim Ironfist might be the last one remaining.

So what's another reason why Ungrim Ironfist is the main badass of Warhammer? Well, there isn't a monster that he hasn't slain. Nothing that flies, slithers, or crawls is match for him. No matter how big the hordes of monsters are he's always to be found at the front line wielding his greataxe and cutting through anything that looks at him funny. He'll also sing a song while doing it, just to liven things up a little bit.

But you don't get to be the best of Slayer Kings without making at least one glorious kill. Ungrim Ironfist proved his worth a long time ago by hunting the greatest of beasts. It was him who vanquished the Dragon of Black Peak. If dragon slaying doesn't make you badass, I don't know what does.

You can't have best Legendary Lords in Warhammer without Skaven

Warhammer Skrolk

Even though they can be looked down at as vermin, the Skaven have been providing the world of Warhammer with some awesome Legendary Lords. The most prominent, and definitely the most badass, of them is Lord Skrolk.

Granted, Lord Skrolk isn't much to look at. He is bent, his flesh is leathery, and he is covered with plague buboes. And that's just the part of his body you can see, the rest is covered up. And it's probably for the best as one can only assume it is in a much worse condition. Essentially, Lord Skrolk is a walking plague.

But that doesn't sound very badass, does it? No, being a walking disease is not going to land you on the list of the most badass Legendary Lords in Warhammer. What makes him awesome is the ability to draw power from those diseases. Where lesser men (or rats) would crumble under them, Lord Skrolk grows stronger. The aura of disease that provides his strength is so strong the very air around him darkens and congeals. Any plant he walks by instantly withers and dies. Not to mention other living things that are unfortunate to be caught in his presence.

The queen of the top Legendary Lords of Warhammer

Warhammer Morathi badass Legendary Lords

Every realm needs a queen. And who better to rule it than the mother of the Witch King herself? No, not the Tolkien one. Morathi is the most badass dark elf Legendary Lord, and also the first of the Hag Queens. Believe me, that's a big deal. But if those credentials weren't enough for you, how about the fact that she is the High Sorceress of Ghrond? Now that's pretty impressive.

However, that's not enough to make her badass. At least not when the competition are all the other Legendary Lords of Warhammer. What does make her one of the most badass Legendary Lords is the fact that she is the only Witch Elf who is allowed to use Dark Magic. And being one of the most powerful magic users in the world, she is definitely putting it to good use.

If anyone is to displease her, she unleashes a full power of Chaos on them. Something that makes everyone instantly regret displeasing her in the first place. Her grasp over Chaos is unrivaled, and she owes it all to the Daemonic pacts she made over her lifetime. No force is too vile for her to ally with if it will grant her more power. Being in the way of Morathi is the last place you'll ever be. You've been warned.

The Vampire Counts will do anything to make their presence known

Helman Ghorst Warhammer

And that's true even when talking about the most badass Legendary Lords of Warhammer. The Vampire Counts are never to be underestimated, much less when they're as focused and driven as the Helman Ghorst. Haven't heard about him yet? You will, and you'll remember him.

Helman Ghorst actually used to be a man. Used to being the key part of that statement. While still alive he suffered the tragic loss of his father and brother to the plague. Something that would send anyone into obsessive madness. But it was especially prominent with Helman Ghorst. He spent years studying the black arts and necromancy in order to return his family to life. His research drew the attention of Mannfred von Carstein, who transformed him into something else. Not quite a man, not quite a vampire.

But with that transformation, more secrets about necromancy were revealed to him than he could ever hope for. Unfortunately, he learned there is no returning dead people to true life. There is only reanimation that would turn them into a mindless husk of their former selves. And now the family that he once tried to save is reanimated and forever cursed to pull the bone-ridged cart Helman Ghorst is carried on. It doesn't get more metal than that.
