Well, 2Game is all about bang-per-buck today, and we're here to facilitate two hugely important things! The first is to tell you about the 10 best PC LEGO games you could start playing right this instant. The second, on the other hand, is to offer them to you at substantial discounts.
That's right - we've got a big LEGO sale going on to celebrate International LEGO day! You can get the games featured below at steep discounts, running until February 2! So, do make use of the deals while they're around. If you don't get here in time, though, rest assured - all the LEGO games on this list are well worth the full asking price anyway.
One of the very oldest LEGO games on this list, the original Harry Potter title is one of the most nostalgic games of all time for a certain generation of gamers. Coincidentally, this is also one of the games that propelled Traveler's Tales to its current heights. In practice, it's a product of its time, but remains a real delight for fans of the Wizarding World IP.
The single most experimental game on this list, Worlds was supposed to be kinda-sorta LEGO Minecraft, if you can believe it. Sadly, the game's Early Access release never got the attention it needed to truly persevere, and the game failed to fulfil all of its promises. The fact remains, however, that Worlds is a real delight to play, and that it offers all the customization and modularity a sandbox-oriented LEGO lover could wish for. So, go for it!
Strangely enough, the two Marvel Super-Heroes games deliver almost entirely different gaming experiences. Generally speaking, the first Marvel game of this series is actually preferred by most players due to its phenomenal voice-over and a more focused and cohesive storyline progression. Super-Heroes 2 is, however, the better sandbox! Depending on whether you prefer pure gameplay or a stronger narrative, you may choose one or the other, but Super-Heroes 2 is more over-the-top for sure.
The finest LEGO Batman game of them all, this was the very first proper open-world LEGO game, and it delivered a uniquely delightful version of a halfway LEGO Gotham for Batman and his friends to explore. It succeeds in delivering just the right balance of progression and exploration, and though unlocking characters and suits are unnecessarily grindy, it's a joy to play from the start 'to the end. This, as LEGO fans will know, is not always the case.
Who doesn't want to play a super-villain every so often? Well, LEGO DC Super-Villains effectively takes all the most popular DC villains and sets up a genuinely exciting narrative around their adventures. There's a charming quality to this game with remarkably solid character customization as one of its hallmark features. Indeed - players get to build their own super-villain this time around, and it's a hoot. A must-play for DC fans, in particular.
A LEGO GTA game? Well, there's an idea! Against all odds, Undercover manages to fulfill most of this promise, with a remarkably well-realized LEGO city filled to the brim with activities, quests, and full-on missions for players to take on and complete. Naturally, it's a bit more janky than a GTA game gets to be in this day and age, but Undercover more than makes up for this with classic LEGO humor that is used to substantial effect with each new scene. Fans of open-world gaming need to play this one for sure.
Lord of the Rings has had a number of amazing games come out over the years, and it's no big surprise to see the LEGO rendition of LOTR be high up on many of these lists. A tasteful parody of the films in most respects, this game allows players to relive all the pivotal moments from Peter Jackson's original trilogy, and it pays off tremendously well. There's an open-world exploration element to the game as well, if that's what you want to have fun with, though the main narrative is where the focus lies.
LEGO dinosaurs? Yes, please. Jurassic World is much more than just another LEGO romp through well-trod movie narratives, you see. In more ways than one, it expands upon the baseline movie stories and adds plenty of optional content, such as a lightweight dino customization/simulator. In fact, there's even a way to control dinosaurs themselves, and fans of these wondrous animals will find this feature incredibly satisfying for sure. Oh, did we forget to mention that it's one of the funniest LEGO games TT has delivered yet? Because it is!
As we mentioned before, the Marvel Super-Heroes game is, essentially, the best Traveler's Tales title of its era. There's a huge wealth of content on show in the game, and though it has a stellar open-world component that players can enjoy at their own behest, its main narrative takes centre stage. Excellent dialogue and voice-over is king here, too, and though few heroes have their actual actors, the talent on show is downright impeccable and a perfect match for LEGO humor.
Finally, the ultimate Traveler's Tales LEGO title: The Skywalker Saga! This is, without the faintest doubt, the biggest and most comprehensive project TT Games has produced so far. Sure enough, it took a long time for developers to make it happen, and the renewed focus on open-world gameplay and progression won't be to everyone's taste. Still, the game is a ridiculous amount of fun, and it shows what the developer might focus on now that it's moved onto Unreal Engine 5. Seriously though, this was one of the finest games of 2022, and it should be on your docket no matter what.
That about does it for our top list of LEGO games you should be focusing on! To explore even more LEGO deals at top-tier discounts, use the link featured in the image above and explore our full roster of discounts.
