Borderlands 3: Guns, Love, and Tentacles is a brand new pack of content that brings a lot of guns, more love, and you know, tentacles, to the game. So put your fanciest killing suit on, grab your dancing boots, and get ready attend the wedding of the century! Maybe you even catch the bouquet.

The story behind Guns, Love, and Tentacles

As mentioned before, it has all of those things. Of course, some of them are more appealing than others. But hey, I'm not here to judge. After all, weddings are about celebrating love. And Borderlands 3: Guns, Love, and Tentacles will take you to the most amazing wedding you'll ever attend. Actually, it'll probably ruin all the other weddings for you, but it's worth it.

The wedding between Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs is something to behold. Keeping true to their adventuring spirits, they decided to have it on the planet Xylourgos in a charming decrepit village which lies underneath a giant frozen monster. Talking about a destination wedding. However, no wedding is without its problems. You know what it's like. Sometimes the wrong flowers are delivered, the band is late, or a band of occultists who worship the frozen monster's carcass makes it their personal mission to break up the party. Just like any other wedding.

As the guest of honour, it is your job to fight back the forces of otherworldly evil that was summoned. And don't be shy with explosions, every wedding needs fireworks. But don't worry, you're not going at it alone. The wedding planner is there to give you a helping hand. None other than the former famous Vault Hunter mechromancer Gaige. And yes, she brought her BFF robot Deathtrap.

Everything this wedding brings to Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3: Guns, Love, and Tentacles brings a whole bunch of new awesome things to the game. Most importantly, the new friendships you can make along the way and the return of the old ones. Just kidding, it's guns. A lot of guns. You can now arm yourself with some of the deadliest gear found in the entire galaxy. That includes new legendaries and brand new powerful class mods. But in order to keep you looking sharp there is also a selection of new cosmetics.

As mentioned before, Guns, Love, and Tentacles is taking you to Xylourgos. That means there is a whole new planet available to you. It's a massive ice-planet unlike anything you've seen in Borderlands before. I guess you could say that's quite cool. I'll show myself out now.

However, no planet would be complete without a horde of monsters that are just waiting to be shot in the face. Most of them wouldn't volunteer for it though.

All of that is made even more awesome by the underlying backstory of the planet, village, frozen monster, and the villagers living underneath it. There is a whole bunch of side-missions that will make your skin crawl before you pull the trigger.
