While not everyone might've agreed, Starfield was a real slam dunk for the team here at 2Game. Combining Bethesda's core RPG features with an effectively infinite content generation excuse was nothing short of phenomenal even on day one, and we always knew that Bethesda would stick with the game and keep improving it on and on.

The release of the Creation Kit is a prime example of this being the case, specifically. We're revisiting the topic of modding after a couple of months to get a sense of what's what in the Starfield modding community, and we were absolutely taken aback by the sheer number and quality of mods available for Starfield. There are some curiosities we need to touch upon here, mind, but we'll explain everything you need to know below.

READ MORE: The Best Starfield Mods (Before the Creation Kit Came Out!)

The Ultimate List of Must-Have Starfield Mods

Obviously, we recommend checking out our pre-Creation Kit article (featured above) if you've got no context as to how Bethesda game modding works in practice. Starfield is a tad more complicated to mod than, say, Fallout 4 or Skyrim, and for the first time ever we're seeing the official Bethesda Creations modding platform overtake Nexus when it comes to user popularity and file variety.

That's right: if you just want to keep it easy, simple, and accessible: we actually recommend sticking with Creations this time around. How's that for precedent-setting developments? Nexus, however, is still loaded with deeper, more game-changing mods that turn Starfield up on its head. So, down below, you'll find links to both of these services depending on the mod in question.

Now, note that you cannot install all the mods featured below all at once. Stick with your preferences and exercise common sense on top of thoroughly reading the mod installation instructions wherever available.

Gameplay Mods

These are the big, gameplay-shifting revamps, reworks, improvements, and other meaningful upgrades to the core Starfield gameplay loop. We love gameplay mods, but the thing to keep in mind here is that these will most often end up breaking your game if something goes amiss, so you'll want to be particularly careful when setting them up!

Graphics Mods

Want to spice things up for your eyeballs? Look no further! Graphics mods for Starfield are an absolute joy thanks to the game's already awesome graphics, and these bits and bobs up things up to 11.

Weapons Mods

Want more guns? Gun mods? Gun skins? Gun guns? We've got you covered. Whereas adding all-new items and skins was a problem before the CK came out, it's now easy and simple, and we've got a veritable bonanza of goodies to share. Find them below!

Armor/Clothes Mods

Similar story as with weapons: Starfield lends itself to a whole host of native-looking armor sets, clothes, and other thingamabobs, and here we've assembled our list of phenomenal category items you too, ought to consider.

Assorted Mods

Here we've thrown in all the mods that just didn't fit into any other category. Some of them are simple, others are complex. Some are small, others are big. Lovely goodness all around, however!

Want more? Stay Tuned!

And there you have it: that's our current list of the very best mods you can (and should!) install for Starfield. We were taken aback by the fact that Bethesda's official Creations modding service has now well and truly overtaken the third-party Starfield Nexus site. Yet, the two continue to coexist: simpler mods go onto Creations, while the more complex reworks and retrofits have their home on the Nexus. It's quite good, actually!

Now, the kicker is that - much like any other mainline Bethesda RPG - Starfield will inevitably continue to grow and improve. Both unofficially, via mods, and officially via expansion packs and updates. To that end, then, you're going to want to keep checking in with this article rather often, as we'll keep it up-to-date with the latest and greatest mods as we go. Not bad, right?

CHECK OUT: The Best Games Like Starfield to Play When You're Through With It

The space FPS game you’ve always dreamt of!

Here at 2Game, we often bemoan the fact that A and AA-tier video game productions are a dying breed. It seems like the focus usually falls squarely on either meme-worthy indies or ultra-marketable AAAs, but the fact of the matter is that there is a whole world of stuff happening in-between. Companies such as Indie.io, specifically, keep pushing such projects forward, and now we'd like to shine a light onto them for a little bit.

Down below, we've assembled a highly curated list of some of Indie.io's very best and/or most interesting titles. These range from hardcore to cozy, and we don't think any gaming niche is left underserved all that much. Don't believe us? Here's the list, have fun!

Check out the full Indie.io roster of games over at 2Game!

Must-Play Indie.io Games

The Bunker

A small, super-cheap survival FPS, The Bunker is a PSX-style VHS horror game that's going to stick with you for way, way longer than it takes to complete its campaign. A must-play for horror fans, but also for those who are nostalgic about the old PlayStation titles from the late '90s!

Shell Runner

Can you ever truly have enough of the classic top-down twin-stick shooter concept? We can't, and that's why we really enjoy Shell Runner: a cyberpunk hybrid of the classic top-down combat with looter-shooter shenanigans. Really, the concept isn't too far removed from nu-Marathon, except it's an offline single-player experience, so that's neat!

Traveler's Refrain

Did you enjoy Hades, Bastion, and other such action titles? Enter Traveler's Refrain, a mind-blowing action RPG that leans heavily into its musical theme and mood. Featuring entirely hand-drawn artwork, a remarkable story, and excellent gameplay, Traveler's Refrain is a natural fit for anyone that loves Supergiant Games' output, proving that this particular niche isn't just their unique purview.

Dark Deity 2

Dark Deity 2 is easily one of the best tactical RPGs to have come out in the past couple of years. Extremely community-driven, taking cues from the likes of Fire Emblem to produce an excellent new experience in the niche. Make no mistake though: gameplay is king in Dark Deity 2, and so if you're expecting a stellar story, you may be somewhat disappointed. If that's no concern, though, Dark Deity 2 will easily keep you busy for dozens of hours on end.

Hauntsville

Can you believe that we've never had a proper, full-featured Wild West survival game? Until Hauntsville came about, that is, and it's precisely what it sounds like. The player's job is to build up a humble homestead in the American West, slowly unravel what's amiss in the region, and optimally even survive as the horror begins to unfurl. Great fun!

Immortal Hunters

A rare modern beat 'em up title, Immortal Hunters combines a fascinating alt-medieval narrative with chunky, satisfying combat that'll keep you coming back for more. From a vibes point of view, Immortal Hunters is really similar to the likes of No Rest for the Wicked, though it's obviously not a proper AAA production. Still, lots to love with this one!

SCP: Fragmented Minds

There's no shortage of first-person survival games on the market, but SCP: Fragmented Minds has way more potential than most of them do. This astonishingly good Early Access title puts you smack-dab in the middle of an immense Foundation facility on Mars, specifically Site-113, which houses some of the worst SCPs ever conceived. Your job? To survive and, perhaps, help humanity at large do the same! What's to worry about?

HumanitZ

An Early Access zombie survival game, HumanitZ stands out from all the many other competitors in its niche by doing almost as much as Project Zomboid does. Except, with an obviously reduced scope and a ridiculously higher-grade asset library. The only real downside to HumanitZ is its janky camera view in our book: everything else is absolutely phenomenal and a must-play for fans of the sub-genre.

Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga

Though there's no shortage of two-dimensional strategy games on the market nowadays, very few of them are as awesomely comprehensive and deep as Symphony of War. Featuring a massive list of units, abilities, and campaign modes, Symphony of War in its Nephilim Saga edition is one of the biggest games of its kind you could start playing. And oh hey, it works great on the Steam Deck, to boot!

Airborne Kingdom

If you played Bioshock: Infinite and wondered if you could make Columbia function properly, Airborne Kingdom is the game for you. Airborne Kingdom is a fancy little city-builder, except instead of locking your infrastructure down to the ground, it lets you float it about as it wanders around the globe. Extremely fun, chill, and vibrant, this isn't the most hardcore city-builder on the market, but it sure is a joy to experience.

Cat Cafe Manager

Coffee is neat, right? So are cats! What if you could put two and two together in a delightful little simcade package? Enter Cat Cafe Manager: the pinnacle of coziness in modern gaming. From in-depth Cafe customization to NPC and feline interactions, Cat Cafe Manager is the game to play if you're even remotely interested in any of these features. Don't sleep on this one, folks!

Echoes of the Plum Grove

Another cozy offering from Indie.io, Echoes of Plum Grove is a community and farming simulator that takes its cues from the likes of Rimworld, except non-horrific in practice. It's a great experience across the board, but the bit that attracted us the most to it are its awesome Paper Mario-style graphics.

Moon Mystery

The Moon's haunted, folks, and the only way to exorcise it is with bullets. Loads and loads of high-caliber bullets fired from fancy, high-tech guns. In an obvious nod to Destiny, Indie.io's Moon Mystery is a striking tactical shooter that doesn't shy away from mind-boggling setpieces. For a budget project, that's a hell of an achievement!

Forgotten Seas

A wonderfully oddball survival game, Forgotten Seas takes place in the Bermuda Triangle, where all manner of creatures, biomes, and technologies exist at the same point in time. Don't question it, alright? All jokes aside, Forgotten Seas features remarkable customization and progression features, and you can do it all solo or in co-op, which isn't something we often see in seafaring/pirate games. Nice!

Pinball Spire

Described as a "Pinballvania" adventure, Pinball Spire is an absolutely delightful exercise in innovative progression with top-tier pixel art thrown in as a bonus. Take control over a pinball as it makes its trek to the top of the mysterious Spire and experience a Metroidvania like you've never seen before. Trust us: this one's amazing no matter your gaming preferences.

Dreamscaper

One of Indie.io's few Roguelite action games, Dreamscaper is an isometric hack 'n' slash twin-stick title that does most things by the book. The kicker? They're done astonishingly well. Expect fast, chunky, and satisfying combat that actually reminds us of the likes of Dead Cells of all things. That's very high praise coming from us, so if you're in the market for a Roguelite, give Dreamscaper a shot!

Mail Time

For those who'd prefer a more straightforward 3D platformer, Mail Time comes in as a real delight. This is an honest-to-goodness mail-delivery adventure that's obviously been inspired by PlayStation and PlayStation 2-era titles. It's fun, reactive, and whimsical to a ridiculous degree, and it's the perfect option for relaxing and unwinding after a long day at work.

The best of the best, at a lower price than you think!

When you think about Silent Hill as a franchise, few things are quite as emblematic of it as its setting. The titular town of Silent Hill has, from the very start, been the crux of the matter after all. Depending on which lore theory you subscribe to, there's a variety of reasons why Silent Hill, specifically, is the spot where all of Silent Hill (the franchise)'s horrors come to life, but that's all bound to change very, very soon.

Due to release sometime in 2025 is Silent Hill f, the strangely titled new entry in this beloved horror franchise. The kicker? Even though it's set in the same universe as Silent Hill games proper, it's almost literally on the other end of the planet: in Japan. How does that work? Why isn't this an entirely different, if similar series being kick-started in its own right? Should baseline Silent Hill fans even care? We've got the answers to all of these questions and more, so strap in.

Stay tuned for Silent Hill f - right here at 2Game!

It's no secret at all that Silent Hill has always, always taken a hefty dose of inspiration from classic Japanese horror media. Heck, as it's been developed by Japanese horror experts, this comes as no surprise, but it does drive home just how curious and important the setting of the game has always been. Now, with Silent Hill f, this revered horror franchise is circling back home for a proper tour de force.

Silent Hill f takes place in the small, rinky-dink town of Ebisugaoka, which seemingly out-of-the-blue gets entirely consumed by a sticky, all-encompassing fog. We all know what that means, of course, but the protagonist of SHF, Hinako, obviously does not, and that's where the story kicks off proper.

This being the first proper foray into the world beyond the town of Silent Hill means a fair few things for f:

So, we're really in for something that may rhyme with Silent Hill games of yore, but also etches its own path through the rich, disturbing lore of the franchise. In fact, we'd go so far as to say that Silent Hill f is precisely what we were hoping to see when Konami announced its grand revival of the franchise.

On top of that, Bloober Team's phenomenal Silent Hill 2 remake proved just how much life there's left in the concept. There's never been a better time for Silent Hill to try something genuinely new and compelling, and that's where SHF comes into the picture.

The thing about Silent Hill, truly, is that it's a known quantity for the most part. Sure enough, it definitely is horrific and terrifying in its own right, as we clearly saw with the recent SH2R, but it was time for the series to go beyond its original envelope.

As such, Silent Hill f presents franchise fans with something genuinely unprecedented: a Silent Hill set in the 1960s Japan would've been downright unthinkable at one point. Yet, all the recent screenshots, trailers, and other promo materials show a remarkable evolution of the concept. What we're looking at here is a total re-contextualization of everything we know and love about Silent Hill, all the while retaining all the bits and bobs that make the experience what it truly is.

And hey, if you're getting Siren kind of vibes here, you're absolutely not off track, as we can't imagine the developer - NeoBards Entertainment - hadn't taken a peek at the old PlayStation classic for inspiration.

Particularly notable is the talent behind SHF, too. To begin with, the story has been brought to life by the acclaimed artist Ryukishi07, who is renowned in the Japanese manga scene. Certain pieces of soundtrack have been written by the legendary Akira Yamaoka, on the other hand, so no matter whether you're in it for the visuals, the story, or the audio, you're coming out a winner.

Sadly, Silent Hill f doesn't currently have an official release window other than a tentative 2025 estimate. Given that we've got the full array of PC system requirements in tow, though, we expect that a proper launch window announcement is basically imminent by now.

Expect lots more Silent Hill coverage here at 2Game, though: from technical spec recommendations all the way to lore breakdowns, we've got a huge list of content planned out already. So stick with us and bookmark the pre-order page featured below. As soon as Silent Hill f is available for pre-purchasing, we'll let you know.

Stay tuned for Silent Hill f - right here at 2Game!

Japan’s got silent hills too, you see.

OK, here's the deal. Once a year, the Paintress wakes… and paints death. She marks a number on her towering monolith, and everyone of that age instantly vanishes.

Tomorrow, she’ll paint the number 33… unless you and your fellow members of Expedition 33 can stop her. No pressure, right?

Launching April 24th, 2025, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 isn’t just another RPG. It’s an emotional, high-stakes, poetic gut-punch dressed in Belle Époque finery. With hauntingly dreamy landscapes, reactive turn-based combat, real-time mechanics, and one of the most ominously beautiful premises in recent memory, it’s part tragedy, part tactical brilliance, and wholly a work of stunning artistic ambition.

Shaping up to be one not to miss, the only question remains: which edition should you get? Is the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition Worth It?

What Comes With the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition?

Let's cut to the chase. The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition doesn’t come with secret dungeons or game-breaking weapons. What it does bring is drip. If you want your heartbreak with a side of haute couture, this one's for you. Here's what you get on top of the base game:

The “Flowers” Collection

This isn’t your average cosmetic bundle. Featuring six original outfits and matching hairstyles—each inspired by the mysterious Flowers of Lumière, a group cloaked in symbolism, sorrow, and grace—the Flowers Collection isn't just about style. Each design echoes the game’s themes of beauty, loss, and the fleeting nature of time, carrying the weight of the world you’re fighting to protect.

And there’s more. Each outfit includes a moody “Gommage” variation—darker, more introspective reinterpretations that double the aesthetic depth.

That’s twelve total looks, letting you tailor each character’s appearance to match the mood of your journey.

Custom “Clair” Outfit for Maelle

Maelle may be the youngest member of the expedition at just 16, but she’s no wide-eyed rookie. Orphaned at the age of three and never feeling quite at home in Lumière—unlike her older, world-weary teammates—Maelle sees the Expedition not just as a mission, but as freedom: her chance to step beyond the borders of Lumière and carve out her own identity. And now, with her exclusive “Clair” outfit? She’s doing it in style!

Custom “Obscur” Outfit for Gustave

The quiet backbone of Expedition 33, Gustave is more than just a spear-wielding strategist. An engineer by trade, he poured himself into strengthening the city’s defenses and sustaining its people. Now, with only one year left, he’s turned his focus outward—fighting not just to end the cycle of death, but to give Lumière’s children the future he was denied. Reflecting that same quiet resolve, Gustave’s exclusive outfit is sharp, purposeful, and unshaken—a fitting look for a man facing the end, with nothing left to lose but everything worth saving.

So… Is the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition Worth It?

You get the gist. There are no gameplay perks here. No secret bosses, bonus missions, or stat-boosting gear. Instead, what the Deluxe Edition gives you is striking outfits and hairstyles that amplify the atmosphere and bring even more personality to your party. And in a game like this, that matters.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is built in Unreal Engine 5 and looks like a playable oil painting. From haunting landscapes like the Island of Visages to the melancholic majesty of the Forgotten Battlefield, the world drips with artistry and emotional weight. For characters already rich with story, giving them new looks isn’t just about fashion. It’s about expression, mood, and meaning.

Yes, the Deluxe Edition doesn’t alter the narrative. But it does change how you experience it. And in a game this rich with style, sorrow, and soul, that extra layer of expression might just hit harder than any extra content.

Ultimately, if you’re here for the grind, the glory, and nothing else, the Standard Edition delivers. But if you want the drama, the aesthetic, and the full emotional weight of this haunting adventure, go Deluxe!

We've known for a while now that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 isn't interested in featuring playable races other than the Imperial Astartes. It was to be expected, really, that a game titled 'Space Marine' would focus specifically on this one titular faction, right?

Here's the kicker, though: the game isn't going to skimp out on customization. Not only will we be able to choose our Primaris Astartes' class, but there will be several different Chapters available, too! And even detailed, granular customization by the likes of the old Dawn of War games, so if you end up not liking the available Chapters, you can gosh darn make your own. Nice!

All Confirmed Astartes Chapters in Space Marine 2

Here's a list of all 8 of the official day-one Astartes Chapters in Space Marine 2:

Now, the thing to note is that some of these will be locked behind game progression and/or DLC purchases. Not to fret, though! Space Marine 2 allows you to create your own custom Astartes Chapter to use in post-campaign content, from the materials of each and every part of your Marine's armor all the way to the color hues and Imperial thingamabobs. Nice!

With this in mind, we expect that it'll be hard to argue against Space Marine 2 monetization. After all, if you don't want to support devs with DLC purchases, you can just bootleg your own custom "Raven Guard" chapter, right? With the sheer amount of customization on show in this game, we expect oodles of replayability and a loyal fanbase for years to come. Exciting stuff.

All In-Game Astartes Chapters - April 16, 2025 Update

In a truly incredible turn of events, we ended up learning that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 actually has way, way more Astartes factions and sub-factions than you'd expect at a glance. For the most part, pre-release materials were focusing on the big names outlined above, but the really interesting bits are found in the Customization Menu's Astartes Heraldry sub-interface.

The Heraldry UI is basically your cosmetics unlocking menu, where you get to pick and choose which Astartes  chapter's cosmetics to unlock, and what items you might wish to pick up for use in custom armor sets.

Here, we've got four different Astartes Chapter tabs - one of them dedicated to Chaos Chapters specifically. There's an absolutely immense selection of items to chase and retrofit into your custom Marines! Here's the full list of Astartes Chapters represented in the game on day one:

First Founding Chapters

Heretic Astartes

Unknown Foundings

Ultramarine Sub-Chapters

A hell of a list, right? Now, the really interesting bit is that we think this list is going to get massively expanded upon as time goes on via cosmetic season passes. We know, for example, that Season 1 is going to be all about Dark Angels, and the Ultramarine Chapter tab has us thinking the Dark Angels will receive similar treatment as part of their seasonal release.

So, stay tuned! We'll keep this article topped-up with all the new Astartes Chapters the game gets!

All Available Space Marine 2 Cosmetic Packs

On top of all of the goodies featured above, it's worth remembering that Saber Interactive has also kept up with a steady supply of bonus Cosmetic Packs for Season Pass owners. As of mid-April 25, we've received all of the following items:

We know for a fact that we're also due to receive one more Chapter Pack upgrade in Spring 25, with a potential second Season Pass for later down the line. More on that as it develops, though.

The key thing to keep in mind about all of these Packs is that they add unique, bespoke cosmetic items to specific Astartes Chapters as well as a host of Successor Chapter items. For example, the Dark Angels Chapter Pack thus includes over 40 unique cosmetic items from Angels of Absolution, Redemption, Vengeance, and so on, allowing fans of this particular Chapter to massively increase their item roster as they play Operations Mode. To say nothing of all the different Champion skins, weapon skins, and other assorted goodies.

Post-Launch Cosmetic Pack Space Marine 2 Chapters

Dark Angel Successor Chapters

Space Wolves Successor Chapters

Raven Guard Successor Chapters

Each of these Successor Chapters has their own Heraldries to push through, which means dozens upon dozens of unlockable goodies to chase after. With more and more Operations and other assorted missions being added to the mix, there's absolutely no shortage of stuff to do in Space Marine 2, so what are you waiting for?

Personal therapy tool of choice for gamers worldwide, Farming Simulator is one of those games where—if you know, you know. And if you don't? Well, it's time to find out!

Indeed, with the latest Patch 1.7 update, there's never been a better time to grab a rice paddle and get stuck into the wonderfully addictive world of Farming Simulator 25. This latest patch might not reinvent your virtual fields, but it’s packed with quality-of-life glow-ups that make standing elbow-deep in silage more satisfying than ever.

And don’t worry, we won’t drown you in patch notes. Read on for the good stuff, nice and simple, then you can get on with prepping for twisters!

New Toys for the Toolbox

OK, let's get straight to the new equipment to geek out over. Patch 1.7 comes with:

Göweil G4010 Q Profi: One for your machinery arsenal, this fresh wrapper means more wrapping and less tapping.

John Deere 8R eAutoPowr: Green and gorgeous, if you're a JD loyalist, this new ride is a love letter to you!

Sure, these additions won’t drastically shift your gameplay. But what farmer worth their salt doesn't get a little giddy over new tools?!

Smarter Farming: It’s the Little Things

This stuff's good. GIANTS has clearly been listening to the community with Patch 1.7 adding a bunch of subtle, but mighty, tweaks to make the game feel smoother and more customizable:

Dead zone adjustments (on the fly!) means if your tractor’s drifting when you’re not touching the stick, you can now fix it without quitting your save.

Mod download sizes displayed up front means no more downloading a “tiny” mod that eats your SSD.

Mod update alerts in the main menu are useful if you've ever launched a game only to ponder, “Didn’t I update this mod already?!”

And an absolute game-changer: the option to turn off cruise control at the end of GPS lines saves you that jarring jolt when your tractor keeps going after a job’s done.

Genuinely Good Fixes

You know the spiel. Every patch says “general performance improvements,” but they don't always deliver. This one does. We’re genuinely pleased to see that Farming Simulator 25 now runs more smoothly across the board, and that’s especially true in multiplayer.

Basically, if you’ve ever cursed lag spikes during a group harvest or watched your buddy’s combine blink into the stratosphere, this update will feel like a miracle. The improved multiplayer sync speed means less hitching, fewer weird desyncs, and a generally better online co-op experience.

Some standout fixes include:

Grass no longer yields max output if it’s barely grown - Sorry to some, but this means no more cheating the system!

Invisible tree chunks that could crash your game and trap players in frozen zones are finally gone, so you can chainsaw in peace again.

And yes, trains now actually stop at stations, so no more phantom freight flying off into the distance!

And that's just a snapshot. There are dozens more behind-the-scenes fixes, covering everything from malfunctioning lime spreading to missing maintenance cost deductions. Basically, if you’ve had odd issues in FS25, chances are they’re now squashed!

For the Modders and Tinkerers

For players who tear into map files like DIY projects, GIANTS also threw in some love for you. Patch 1.7 brings improved support for custom fruit types, more forgiving terrain angle changes, and cleaner debugging tools to help you track down issues faster. It also irons out two major headaches:

That nasty crash caused by the onCreateWater callback has been fixed, so you can now safely remove placeables without nuking your game.

And if you've ever scratched your head over a custom placement name not showing properly in your mod map, that's sorted too.

Overall, Patch 1.7 is one of those quiet boosts that won’t make headlines, but will make your modding life smoother and way less frustrating.

Quiet Wins, Big Impact

Patch 1.7 isn’t flashy, but it doesn’t have to be. This is the kind of steady maintenance that makes a great game better. As one community member put it: “Instead of patching the tire, maybe just change it.” And it looks like GIANTS is slowly but surely doing just that, one well-timed update at a time.

So what are you waiting for? Fire up your GPS, give your shiny new John Deere a spin, and enjoy the views. But don't dawdle, those rice paddies won't cultivate themselves!

A genuinely good update

As good as STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl might've been on day one, it'd be silly to pretend it didn't have its fair share of issues. Between story blockers and an undercooked A-Life system, we fully understand and appreciate that some of you might've been avoiding the game up until now. The good news is that GSC Game World has already massively improved STALKER 2's baseline, but even more boons are on the way.

The long anticipated Q2 2025 STALKER 2 content roadmap is now available! That's right: GSC Game World has finally blessed us with a set of expectations for Q2 of this year, and boy howdy are they a doozy. Not only are we due for a modding SDK beta very, very soon, but we're also getting A-Life and AI upgrades, mutant loot, new guns, and more! Here's the full list, with some discussion on what that implies below.

Get your STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Steam key right here at 2Game!

Full STALKER 2 Q2 Content Roadmap

To summarize for those who can't load the official image, STALKER 2 is due to receive all of the following in Q2 2025:

That's on top of the usual suite of optimizations, stability improvements, and bug-fixing. Curiously, GSC has also officially confirmed plans for a "Next-Gen" upgrade set for the original STALKER trilogy. The classic titles were recently released on new-gen consoles as the Legends of the Zone package, but there's been no word of further upgrades on this front.

We're hoping to see some PC-focused improvements as well, but it's not like that would affect standalone community projects such as Anomaly, so it's not a huge deal if you've already moved on from the base games.

What's the Next Step for Heart of Chornobyl?

Crucially, GSC Game World admits that some of the outlined Q2 improvements and releases for STALKER 2 might get nudged into Q3 or even further out. We're hoping that doesn't end up being the case, but this is obviously a very, very loaded roadmap to begin with, so who knows.

Up until now, it's mostly been all-hands-on-deck for GSC to get STALKER 2 into the right state to support actual meaningful content updates. Now, though, we're in for the real deal with new guns, proper and full-featured modding, and - finally - actual living and breathing A-Life systems.

As one of the most atmospheric and immersive games of 2024, STALKER 2 is still one of our favorite titles of all time. It did make its way into our top 100 PC games list, after all! We're extremely excited to see how GSC continues to improve the title, but even more so for what the modding community does with it.

Of course, we'll stay on top of all of these developments in the coming weeks and months, so bookmark the Community Hub and stick with us. Good things on the horizon, folks, even if it did take a few chunky Emissions before we got here.

New guns, mutant loot, and loads more!

It doesn't take much scrolling through our back-catalogue of content to tell that we're big fans of handheld PC gaming and the Steam Deck, in particular. The trick with the Deck, however, is that not all games work great on it right out of the gate, even though most of them definitely do. V Rising has up until now fallen into this category, offering middling and unreliable performance for a largely enjoyable if inconsistent experience.

That's all changing with V Rising version 1.1. The massive Invaders of Oakveil content update is here to add a bunch of new stuff to the game's already impressive content roster, but arguably its most important feature is the Steam Deck Verified rating it delivers. So what does that mean, then, and should you even care?

V Rising 1.1 is Steam Deck Verified

As outlined on the official V Rising: Invaders of Oakveil website, the game's chunkiest post-launch update yet is due to release on April 28. To that end, we've not been able to test out its array of Steam Deck improvements. For that, stay tuned! However, the developer itself has confirmed that V Rising 1.1 comes with some much-needed "optimized controls and performance for seamless handheld gameplay."

Slim on details, then, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

The fact to remember here is that V Rising has always been within an arm's length of the revered Verified badge. The game just needed to run a little more reliably at slightly better graphics settings, with a few accommodations for controls and keyboard inputs, specifically. If that's all been sorted out, and Valve's happy with V Rising 1.1, we're in for a doozy. We'll have a full list of Steam Deck improvements ready for you on April 28.

Invaders of Oakveil features loads of regular content, too

V Rising: Invaders of Oakveil isn't just about making the game a joy on the Steam Deck, however! Here's a shortlist of the most important new content and features in V Rising 1.1:

And that's a fairly non-exhaustive list of features, at that, even if it does cover all the main beats of V Rising's 1.1 content update. If you'd like a better look at what else is coming, be sure to check out our in-depth overview using this link.

For those who are keen on visual customization, the new Eternal Dominance customization pack is also going to be available, but that particular content package will set you back $19,99, while Invaders of Oakveil itself is entirely free.

Lots to look forward to, then. Bear with us until April 28, and don't forget to grab a copy of the game if you don't yet have it!

V Rising version 1.1 should be a dream on the Deck!

There's nothing quite like a good simulator when you're looking to just kick back and enjoy the sheer complexity of a seemingly innocuous, everyday task. Giants Software, the studio primarily known for its comprehensive set of Farming Simulator games, understands this very well. Turning something as pedestrian as farming into a genuinely exciting and engaging video game is no mean feat, after all, let alone something that would keep the community entertained for the better part of a decade.

Yet, Giants Software's accomplished just that, and Farming Simulator 25 is a phenomenal showcase of it. And oh hey, wouldn't you know it, as of right now you can purchase FS25 right here at 2Game, as we've partnered up with Giants to continuously offer the studio's titles for years to come! Farming Simulator 25 is just the start of it, though, and the biggest winners of them all in this entire equation are you, our dear customers.

"We are the creators behind the globally renowned Farming Simulator series," says the Giants' official statement. "But our expertise extends beyond development—we’re also a publisher, engine developers, modding enthusiasts, and more."

Nowhere is this visible better than in the fact that the Farming Sim engine is being used to develop an extremely promising new racing sim: Project Motor Racing, formerly known as GTRevival from the folks behind Project Cars 1 and 2. That's right, folks: the Farming Sim 25 engine is going to power a full-featured triple-A racing simulator. Imagine the possibilities when it comes to modding! Exciting times ahead, right?

Setting that aside for a little bit, Giants Software is an extremely accomplished team of specialists that has, over the years, been hyper-focused on one thing and one thing only Farming Simulator. With great pride, 2Game can now announce that we stock all of the studio's legacy and modern Farming Sim content as of today, and much of it is even highly discounted for a limited time. Some examples include:

On top of that, a whole host of DLC content is also available right here at 2Game, so be sure to check up on that as well.

Crucially, this means 2Game is going to be your go-to spot for any and all Giants Software titles in the future. Obviously, this means Farming Simulator, but also third-party offerings such as Project Motor Racing!

If you're keen on that at all, or even if you're just in for it for the next big Farming Simulator thing, you can rest assured that 2Game's going to have you covered for times to come. So, do stay tuned and do check back in with our storefront whenever you catch the time.

From Giants, for giants.

Note that 2Game now also hosts a variety of Cygames' post-launch DLC content for their console and PC titles. The various Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising character DLCs, such as that of the ever-popular 2B from Nier: Automata, are a prime example.

All of this is to say that 2Game is now your one-stop-shop for PC Cygames titles. Not only is this an excellent opportunity to upgrade your game library with some of Cygames' best-ever offerings, but you're also going to want to say tuned down the line. Cygames is going to continue hosting releases at 2Game in the future, and this means you may be able to save big bucks on the studio's upcoming offerings as well!
