Space Marine 2 is coming out this September, and it's going to offer three different ways to play right off the bat. All players will have immediate access to:
Outside of the set campaign itself, all players will also have full access to a Space Marine editor, where they'll be able to outfit, customize, and equip their Operations and PvP operator. This includes both the Imperium and the Chaos Marines, mind, as in PvP modes, it's Imperial vs Chaos Astartes all day long.

Note, too, that cosmetic customization isn't the be-all-end-all here, either. Space Marine 2's multiplayer modes let you choose between six unique, lore-mandated Astartes sub-classes ranging from the heavily armed Bulwark Marine all the way to the sneaky Sniper Marine.
