SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide – Ghosts, Giggles, and Grappling Hooks

Are you ready, kids? (Aye-aye, Captain!) Good, because SpongeBob and Patrick are about to tackle their most phantasmic problem yet.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, the next big 3D platforming adventure from Purple Lamp and THQ Nordic, is splashing down on November 18, 2025, and this time, Bikini Bottom is under siege by supernatural forces.

Pre-Order Your Discounted Copy of SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide @ 2Game Today!

When Egos Collide… Chaos Ensues

The trouble starts with an undersea heavyweight clash between the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune. But this is no polite disagreement. Think more, “two massive egos turning the ocean into a haunted theme park.” The result? Ghostly mayhem that spreads across Bikini Bottom. It's up to our resident sponge-and-starfish duo to save the day. And if they fail? Everything, and everyone, ends up permanently spectral.

From Neptune’s glittering palace to the frosty peaks of Mount Bikini, you’ll explore iconic SpongeBob locales now reimagined with a ghostly twist. But this isn’t just sightseeing. There are bosses to battle (including a terrifyingly adorable Hibernation Sandy), puzzles to solve, and plenty of F.U.N. to be had along the way.

SpongeBob and Patrick: Two Halves of One Hilarious Hero

One of Titans of the Tide’s biggest hooks (pun 100% intended) is its seamless character swapping. Switch between SpongeBob’s platforming prowess and Patrick’s brand-new abilities, which include grappling for high-flying antics and burrowing to dig through the environment.

More than a cosmetic change, the unique characters’ skills come into play for combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. SpongeBob is still the lovable optimist who’ll bubble-blow his way out of trouble, while Patrick’s mechanical upgrades give him a surprising tactical edge. (Just don't be surprised if these 'tactics' revolve around snacks!)

Fully Voiced and Overflowing with Easter Eggs

Every line is brought to life by the original cast of the show, ensuring the humor and charm hit just right. The game is also stuffed with references for long-time fans, including Princess Mindy’s return, David Hasselhoff’s in-person appearance, and sly nods to episodes spanning SpongeBob’s 26-year history. This is a SpongeBob game made by people who clearly get what makes the franchise tick.

Editions, Extras, and “Butt Flap Bob”

Pre-orders are now live, and the bonuses are suitably absurd. The Natural Costume Pack comes with Butt Flap Bob and Birthday Suit Patrick outfits, perfect for embarrassing yourself while saving the ocean.

And, if you want to go bigger, the Ghostly Digital Edition includes the base game, the Tidal Season Pass (two costume packs + two Plankton’s Portal Challenges), as well as the game’s soundtrack.

Then, for collectors, the Ghostly Edition physical release packs in goodies like a golden spatula keychain, Flying Dutchman patch, lenticular art cards, and a steelbook worthy of Neptune himself.

Why Titans of the Tide Could Be SpongeBob’s Best Yet

Purple Lamp proved with Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated and The Cosmic Shake that they can deliver faithful, polished SpongeBob adventures. But Titans of the Tide looks like their most ambitious project yet, with deeper platforming mechanics, more interactive worlds, and a spooky twist that freshens up the familiar formula.

It’s the same nautical nonsense you know and love, but with a healthy dose of ghostly flair. And, if the trailer’s anything to go by, it’s going to be both a fan-service fest and a genuinely fun platformer in its own right. What more could you ask for?

Football Manager 26: A Triumphant Return, or a Tragic Repeat?

Slowly but certainly, Football Manager is shaping up to be the management sim we all knew it could be. It's taken a fair amount of time, yes, but Sports Interactive has been working hard on something truly special behind the scenes. In fact, if you need proof of that, look no further than the official confirmation of Football Manager 26. We're not being cheeky here, we promise.

After a rocky year that saw Football Manager 25 delayed twice before being scrapped altogether, SEGA and Sports Interactive have finally broken the silence. The studio has officially unveiled Football Manager 26, and though it's still early days, it looks like the wait might just be worth it this time around.

Get ready to return to the dugout when FM26 drops!

The FM25 Situation: A Tough But Necessary Call

Let's be honest about what happened with Football Manager 25. Sports Interactive took one look at their game and said, "This isn't good enough." And you know what? Good for them. Sports Interactive regret to inform that, following extensive internal discussion and careful consideration with SEGA, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Football Manager 25 and shift our focus to the next release.

The decision came after multiple delays, with the development team ultimately recognizing that the overarching player experience and interface is not where we need it to be. Rather than rushing out a subpar product, Sports Interactive made the gutsy call that many publishers would shy away from. We could have pressed on, released FM25 in its current state, and fixed things down the line, but that's not the right thing to do.

This wasn't a failure. It was Sports Interactive showing they actually care about delivering quality over meeting arbitrary deadlines. The FM25 cancellation stung for devoted managers worldwide who had already pre-ordered their annual dose of tactical obsession, but sometimes you need to sacrifice immediate gratification for a stronger future foundation. That patience is about to be rewarded in spectacular fashion, or so we hope.

Unity Engine; A Self-Goal?

If there's one key update we're really looking forward to the most, it's got to be the engine-level switch to Unity. What's new with Football Manager 26 is that it is set to deliver the most immersive entry in the series yet. There will be significant advancements in visuals, powered by the Unity engine.

This isn't just a technical upgrade. It's a complete philosophical evolution that brings Football Manager into the modern gaming landscape without sacrificing the depth that made it legendary. Football Manager 26 or FM26 by Sports Interactive is the first game in a new era of football management, built from the ground up to deliver experiences that previous engines simply couldn't handle.

Think enhanced match visualization, smoother animations, and a level of visual polish that finally matches the sophistication of the underlying simulation. For a series that has long been about the beautiful complexity hidden beneath spreadsheets and statistics, this visual evolution doesn't represent a departure from Football Manager's DNA. It's finally giving that DNA the presentation it deserves.

Now, the problem with all of that is that had Sports Interactive not opted for an engine-level upgrade, we'd have probably had FM25 by now, so it's a double-edged sword for sure. Whether it's for the better in the long run, that's something only time will tell.

Premiere League Licensing and Such

Perhaps the most exciting validation of FM26's ambitions comes in the form of its brand-new Match Day experience. The game will introduce a brand-new Match Day experience, thanks to its Premier League license. It will be the first time for a Football Manager game to fully feature Premier League branding, including team logos, kits, and player photos.

This isn't just about prettier graphics. It's about authenticity and immersion at the highest level. From the 2024/25 season, all 20 Premier League clubs will be fully licensed in future FM releases with official logos, kits, and player photos featuring across the entire FM-series. When you're guiding Manchester City through a title race or trying to keep a newly-promoted side in the top flight, you'll be doing it with unprecedented visual authenticity.

The 30-second teaser trailer already shows a glimpse of that, as well as just refreshing the graphics can potentially look. While brief, it offers tantalizing hints of match day presentation that finally bridges the gap between Football Manager's simulation excellence and the broadcast-quality visuals modern audiences expect. Obviously, it's still some ways away from the cutting-edge of sports games, like NFL 2K, but it's a massive leap forward regardless.

Women's Football: A Proper Revolution

Here's where things get really exciting. FM26 introduces women's football, making it the first game in the series to feature fully integrated men's and women's leagues. This represents more than feature expansion. It's Football Manager acknowledging and embracing the global growth of women's football.

The inclusion of women's football isn't tokenistic. It's built into the game's DNA with the same depth and attention to detail that has made Football Manager the definitive football simulation for decades. Whether you're managing in the WSL, building a dynasty in women's football, or balancing resources across both men's and women's teams, FM26 promises authentic experiences across the entire football spectrum.

And honestly? It's about time. The women's game has exploded in popularity over the past few years, and Football Manager is finally catching up with reality.

30+ Years of Excellence, With Plenty More to Come

The Football Manager franchise has been the gold standard for sports simulation since its Championship Manager origins way back in 1992. Through three decades of innovation, it has consistently delivered experiences that transform casual football fans into tactical obsessives and give seasoned coaches new perspectives on the beautiful game.

FM26 represents the culmination of everything Sports Interactive has learned, enhanced by technology that finally matches their ambitions. The game's expanded database now includes more leagues, nations, and players than ever before, allowing you to take your club to new heights.

What's Coming Next?

Towards the end, it was bared that the first look for the game's new Match Day feature will also be revealed soon enough. Sports Interactive is clearly building anticipation methodically, promising deeper reveals in the coming months. This measured approach after the lessons learned from FM25 suggests a development team confident in their product and committed to delivering excellence.

The obvious caveat is that we don't have a concrete release date yet, but all signs point to a late 2025 launch window. Let's hope that timeline holds, however!

The year-long wait hasn't been easy for Football Manager faithful, but it has allowed Sports Interactive to create something genuinely special. FM26 isn't just the next Football Manager. It's the Football Manager that fans have been dreaming of for years. The big question is whether SI can deliver, and whether the studio has learned from last year's mistakes. Let's see what happens next, eh? We expect an outpouring of concrete information about Football Manager 26 in the coming weeks and months, and to that end, stick around.

Can't wait for FM26? Keep an eye on the 2Game Community Hub for the latest updates!

Football Manager 26 has been re-announced! So… uh, what now?

STALKER 2 Q3, Q4 2025 Content Roadmap: Not Done Yet!

Slowly but certainly, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is shaping up to be the game we all knew it could be on day one. It's taken a fair amount of time, yes, but GSC Game World is working hard on improving the experience across the board. In fact, if you need proof of that look no further than the big Q2 content roadmap from earlier this year, which has now been fulfilled... in full.

New guns, new features, and - crucially - proper modding support have helped a whole heaping lot with making STALKER 2 more palatable to the core franchise community, but GSC isn't done yet. Thankfully, the team has now released a follow-up to the Q2 content roadmap, and its title is: yep, Q3 and Q4 roadmap. We're only being half-cheeky here, we promise.

If there's one key update we're really looking forward to the most from the list, then it's got to be the engine-level update to Unreal 5.5.4, which is bound to massively improve STALKER 2's overall performance envelope. It's not Unreal 5.6, no, but it's still going to be a huge deal for the game in the long run. And hey, 5.6 might end up being on the horizon in due time, too! Back on track, now. Here's the full content roadmap.

Get your STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Steam key right here at 2Game!

Full STALKER 2 Q3 and Q4 Content Roadmap

In case you can't see the official GSC STALKER 2 content roadmap, here's a truncated list of highlights:

Now, these are a huge deal in their own right because of the implication. Specifically, the introduction of night-vision goggles means a comprehensive rework of how AI behaves at night, on top of making night-time gameplay much, much more palatable. The addition of binoculars, however unimportant they might seem at a glance, actually tell us that the visibility distance and persistence of AI might be getting massively improved, as the binoculars might otherwise be basically useless and functionally game-breaking. As it currently stands, for example, equipping a scoped weapon in STALKER 2 lets you see AI spawn in and out of visible range (online A-Life), which is immersion-breaking.

Moving on, the STALKER 2 modkit is getting a slew of improvements as well, featuring Phases 1 and 2:

If we're already getting the likes of the Animation Toolkit and OXA, you can only imagine what else might be coming as the official modkit gets further improvements. Exciting stuff, truly.

We also know that GSC is planning out a special Discord holiday event, the releases of STALKER 2 on Sony PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro consoles, as well as more updates for the Legends of the Zone Enhanced trilogy.

The obvious caveat is that, as GSC puts it, "mission targets may be moved from 2025 to later dates in case of Zone instability." In other words, some of these things might get nudged into 2026 if push comes to shove. Let's hope that doesn't come to be, however!

Hell Is Us – What’s New and Improved in the Latest Demo

PC gamers, the gates of hell just cracked open again, only this time they’re sharper, smoother, and far more dangerous. The updated Hell Is Us demo is live, bringing crisper visuals, smarter systems, and long-awaited fixes.

If you missed its first run in June, here’s your shot. But be quick. The demo vanishes on August 28, a week before the full game launches on September 4, and you won't want to miss out.

A Demo Worth Downloading Again

The new Hell Is Us demo is still that atmospheric, 90-minute opening chapter full of mysterious ruins, silent streets, and creatures that look like they crawled straight out of a fever dream. But now it’s noticeably smoother, prettier, and smarter.

Where June’s build felt like a bold work-in-progress, August’s feels like the devs have been busy sanding down the rough edges and adding a few toys along the way. This isn’t just a second release, it’s a better first impression.

The Patch Notes That Matter

Why It Feels Different

In the new Hell Is Us demo, combat feels sharper and more deliberate. The addition of clear parry cues strips away the guesswork, but without dulling the satisfaction of nailing that perfectly timed counter. Victories still feel earned, just less like trial and error.

Exploration benefits too. With no map or quest markers to guide you, those subtle UX refinements make it easier to stay immersed in the world, instead of wrestling with menus.

The visual upgrade is also instantly noticeable. Whether you’re locked in a desperate clash with a chimera or simply drinking in the eerie stillness of a ruined street, 4K at 60 FPS gives every frame a cinematic punch.

And with snappier menus, quicker item access, and smoother targeting, the whole experience maintains its rhythm, allowing you to stay in the moment without breaking stride.

Why You Should Play The Hell is Us Demo Today

If you played in June, think of this as the Hell Is Us: Definitive Preview Edition—all the atmosphere, minus the little frustrations.

If you’re new, you’re getting a rare, no-handholding demo that lets you wander into as much trouble as you can handle. But you’ve got until August 28 before this door to hell slams shut. After that, you’ll be waiting for launch day.

So grab your sword, step into the ruins, and see how deep your instincts take you, before the gates close again.

KCD2: How to Get a Horse?

In the popular open-world medieval RPG game Kingdom Come: Deliverance, one of the most essential tools at your disposal is your trusty steed. Having a horse can make traversing the vast landscapes of Bohemia much easier and faster, allowing you to explore more efficiently and engage in combat with greater mobility. However, acquiring a horse in the game can be a bit tricky if you're not sure where to look or how to go about it. In this article, we'll delve into the various ways you can obtain a horse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance and offer some tips on how to make the process smoother and more rewarding.

One of the first and most obvious ways to get a horse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance is to purchase one from a stable. Stables can be found in various towns and villages throughout the game world, and they typically have a selection of horses available for sale. However, horses can be quite expensive in the game, so you may need to save up a significant amount of coin before you can afford one. Additionally, some stables may only sell horses to characters with a certain level of horsemanship skill, so be sure to check the requirements before attempting to make a purchase.

If you're looking for a more cost-effective way to acquire a horse, you may want to consider stealing one. While stealing a horse is obviously illegal in the game and can result in negative consequences if you're caught, it can be a quick and easy way to get a horse without having to spend any money. Just be sure to avoid getting caught by guards or other NPCs while attempting to steal a horse, as the repercussions can be severe.

Another option for obtaining a horse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance is to complete quests that involve horses. Some quests in the game may reward you with a horse as a prize for completing certain objectives or helping out certain characters. Keep an eye out for these quests as you explore the game world, as they can provide a great opportunity to acquire a horse without having to spend any money or risk getting caught stealing one.

Finally, if you're feeling particularly ambitious, you can try to tame a wild horse in the game. Wild horses can be found roaming the countryside in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and with the right skills and patience, you may be able to tame one and make it your own. Taming a wild horse can be a challenging task, as it requires a high level of horsemanship skill and a good deal of patience and perseverance. However, if you're successful, you'll have a loyal and powerful companion to accompany you on your adventures throughout Bohemia.

In conclusion, there are several ways to obtain a horse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, each with its own advantages and challenges. Whether you choose to purchase a horse from a stable, steal one, complete quests for one, or tame a wild horse, having a trusty steed by your side can greatly enhance your gaming experience and make your journey through the game world more enjoyable and efficient. So saddle up, brave adventurer, and ride forth into the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance with your faithful companion by your side.

Thymesia: How to Change Between Plague Weapons?

Thymesia is an action-adventure game that has been generating a lot of buzz in the gaming community. With its dark and atmospheric world, challenging combat mechanics, and intriguing storyline, it's no wonder that gamers are eagerly anticipating its release on the PlayStation 5. One of the key features of Thymesia is the ability to switch between different plague weapons, each with its own unique abilities and playstyle. In this article, we'll take a closer look at how players can effectively change between plague weapons in Thymesia on the PS5.

First and foremost, it's important to understand the different types of plague weapons available in Thymesia. These weapons are infused with the essence of various diseases and offer a wide range of offensive and defensive capabilities. From the fast and agile Scourge Dagger to the powerful and devastating Blight Hammer, each plague weapon has its own strengths and weaknesses that players can leverage in combat.

To change between plague weapons in Thymesia, players will need to access the game's inventory menu. This can typically be done by pressing a specific button on the controller, such as the Options button on the PS5. Once in the inventory menu, players can select the plague weapon they wish to equip by navigating through their available options.

It's worth noting that players can only carry a limited number of plague weapons at any given time, so it's important to choose wisely based on the situation at hand. For example, if facing a group of fast-moving enemies, a player may opt for a plague weapon with quick and agile attacks to effectively deal with the threat. On the other hand, when facing a larger and more powerful foe, a player may choose a plague weapon with heavy-hitting attacks to quickly whittle down their health.

In addition to selecting the right plague weapon for the job, players should also consider upgrading and customizing their weapons to maximize their effectiveness in combat. Thymesia offers a deep and robust upgrade system that allows players to enhance their plague weapons with various enhancements and modifications. By investing resources and time into upgrading their weapons, players can unlock new abilities, increase damage output, and improve overall combat performance.

Furthermore, players should experiment with different plague weapons and playstyles to find the combination that best suits their preferences and playstyle. Thymesia encourages players to adapt and evolve their strategies as they progress through the game, so don't be afraid to try out new weapons and approaches to combat.

In conclusion, changing between plague weapons in Thymesia on the PS5 is a crucial aspect of mastering the game's combat mechanics. By understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each weapon, customizing and upgrading them effectively, and experimenting with different playstyles, players can enhance their combat prowess and overcome even the toughest challenges that await them in Thymesia. So gear up, choose your plague weapon wisely, and prepare to unleash devastation upon your enemies in this dark and thrilling adventure.

Once Upon A KATAMARI Rolls Through History This October

After fourteen long years, the Katamari Damacy series is finally rolling back into our lives, and it’s bigger, shinier, and just as gloriously ridiculous as you remember!

Once Upon A KATAMARI launches October 24, 2025, bringing the beloved ball-rolling chaos into a whole new era. Or rather, a dozen different eras. Let us explain.

You see, while “being well-behaved” (his words, not ours), the King of All Cosmos decided to tinker with a mysterious scroll and — surprise, surprise — he managed to obliterate the Earth, the Moon, and a decent portion of the galaxy. Smooth.

Now it’s up to you, the ever-patient Prince (or one of 68 eccentric cousins), to roll your katamari through time itself, scooping up everything from prehistoric dinosaurs to Edo-period lanterns to rebuild the twinkling night sky.

Honestly, what else would you expect from KATAMARI?

A New Adventure With New Tricks

The “roll up everything that isn’t nailed down” gameplay is back in full force, but Once Upon A KATAMARI isn’t just a nostalgia trip. You’ll travel from the Jurassic Era to the Ice Age to historic Japan, each era packed with new objects to collect, new chaos to cause, and a gorgeous new soundtrack to bop along to.

This time, you’ve also got a few extra tricks. Like the Magnet, a handy power tool that pulls nearby objects straight into your katamari. How… attractive. You’ll also find other power-ups like the Rocket, which boosts your speed for high-velocity rolling, and the Timer, which extends your collection window just when you need it most.

Cousins, Colors, and Customization

Whether you stick with the Prince or swap to one of the 68 cousins, customization is in full swing. Mix and match colors, faces, and styles until your character is as unique as your rolling technique.

And if you pre-order, you’ll unlock three extra face customization parts early. Though don’t worry, they’ll still be available through regular play if you’re the patient type (which we're not!)

KatamariBall: The King’s New Sport

New to the royal pastime roster is KatamariBall — a frantic, four-player competition where the aim is simple: roll the biggest katamari possible before the timer runs out, then cash it in for points. You can challenge real-world players online or go toe-to-toe with CPU cousins offline. It’s part sport, part chaos, and entirely on-brand for a game where rolling up pyramids and panda statues is as normal as a gentle stroll in the park.

King of All Sounds Edition

If you’re the type to collect everything (and if you’re playing Katamari, you probably are), you’ll want to check out the King of All Sounds Edition. Here’s what it packs in:

Mafia: The Old Country is Finally Here – Sicily Awaits!

It's launch day for one of 2025's most anticipated crime sagas, and we couldn't be more thrilled! Mafia: The Old Country has officially arrived on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, taking players back to the gritty origins of organized crime in early 1900s Sicily. After years of waiting since Mafia III's divisive reception back in 2016, Hangar 13 is finally ready to show us what they've learned, and honestly, it looks like they've been paying attention.

For those who've been following the franchise since the original Mafia blew us all away in 2002, The Old Country represents something of a homecoming. We're talking about a proper return to the series' European roots, complete with that signature blend of cinematic storytelling and period-accurate atmosphere that made the early games so compelling. No more New Orleans jazz clubs or 1960s American muscle cars. This time, we're exploring the dusty streets and sun-baked villages of Sicily, where the Cosa Nostra first carved out its bloody legacy.

A new chapter in the Mafia franchise is finally here

The game follows Enzo Favara, a fresh-faced protagonist who's about to get a crash course in the brutal realities of Sicilian underworld politics. Without spoiling anything, let's just say that Hangar 13 has clearly been taking notes from the community's feedback over the years. The focus here is squarely on that intimate, character-driven storytelling that made the original Mafia such a masterclass in interactive cinema. And you know what? Early impressions suggest they've nailed that particular vibe once again.

Now, we'll be the first to admit that initial reviews have been a bit of a mixed bag. Some critics are pointing to a relatively short campaign (we're talking roughly 10 hours of playtime) and a few are griping about combat mechanics that feel a tad dated by modern standards. Fair enough, really, though we'd argue that's rather missing the point. Mafia games have never been about sprawling open-world shenanigans or cutting-edge gunplay mechanics. They're about atmosphere, character development, and that slow-burn narrative tension that keeps you glued to your screen.

The good news? Pretty much everyone seems to agree that The Old Country absolutely delivers on the visual and atmospheric front. We're talking about some genuinely stunning recreations of turn-of-the-century Sicily, complete with all the dusty charm and underlying menace you'd expect from a proper Mafia experience. The cutscenes, in particular, are being praised as genuinely cinematic, which, let's be honest, is exactly what we want from a series that's always worn its film influences on its sleeve.

Gaming Trend's review particularly nails what makes this game special, noting that "The Old Country often feels like an interactive movie, with cutscenes that feel meaningful rather than filler." They go on to praise the overall experience: "With a stirring narrative that commands your attention and visuals that fully capture your gaze, The Old Country is exactly the place to holiday as the summer comes to a close."

Sure, the game might not reinvent the wheel when it comes to open-world crime gameplay, but sometimes that's perfectly fine. There's something to be said for a developer that knows exactly what it wants to be and executes that vision with confidence. And if you're hankering for that classic Mafia experience – the kind where every conversation feels loaded with subtext and every family dinner could be your last – The Old Country seems poised to deliver exactly that.

So whether you're a longtime fan eager to return to the series' roots or a newcomer curious about what all the fuss is about, today's the day to find out what Sicily has in store for you. Just remember: in this business, family comes first, and trust is a luxury few can afford.
