Top 10 New 2Game Blockbusters You Need to Play

Earlier this week, we announced that 2Game has massively expanded its roster of available PC games thanks to some exciting new deals. In practice, this means you now have access to an even greater selection of awesome PC games from even more publishers than ever before. You can get a sense of what's included right here, in a separate announcement post. If, however, you're only interested in top-notch quality, this is the place to be.

Down below, we've assembled a list of the very best PC games we now have in store here at 2Game. Some of them are older titles, mind, and new-to-2Game specifically, but that only means you're getting a massively improved, patched-up experience at a lower asking price, to boot. It's a win-win, no matter how you flip it. So, let's get to it!

2Game's Roster Expansion: Top 10 New PC Games

#1: Dying Light: Definitive Edition

We'll not mince words here: we genuinely believe Dying Light is one of the best zombie games of all time. Indeed, we think it's better than its sequel in many ways. What you're getting here is a delightful melee combat system combined with possibly the best implementation of parkour in a video game - ever. Of course, with the Definitive Edition, you can also count on a ridiculous assortment of bonus content, such as the phenomenal The Following DLC.

#2: Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Call of Juarez is a franchise that's neither here nor there in 2024, but the now-aging Gunslinger entry is the best Wild West FPS, bar none. Remarkably fast, snappy, and satisfying, and with a delightful narrative twist that'll keep you on your toes, this is one of those games you just gotta see for yourself.

#3: Monster Train

In our book, Monster Train stands shoulder-to-shoulder with niche blockbusters such as Slay the Spire. Yes, this is a card-based rogue-lite as well, and it's a relatively wacky situation where you control a clan of monsters as they come face-to-face with an evil worse than they are. With a stellar and well-balanced gameplay loop, Monster Train is a joy to play from tip to toe.

#4: Cat Cafe Manager

Described mainly as "pleasant" and "relaxing," Cat Cafe Manager isn't interested in high-intensity combat or dynamic gameplay. Instead, it tasks you with the building, customization, and running of a literal cat cafe (who knew!), and that's virtually all there is to it. The execution of this concept is so good that it's hard not to keep playing it for hours on end, though, and we cannot recommend it enough.

#5: House Flipper

House Flipper is a game all about repairing, maintaining, and - yes - flipping properties. In that sense, it's a simulation of something's far outside most of our respective reaches, but it's way more fun than it sounds like at first. Customization is, once again, the name of the game, and your handyman avatar has the opportunity to build out some truly phenomenally impressive houses and properties.

#6: The Tenants

Substantially expand upon House Flipper's core gameplay loop to the level of an apartment building, and you get The Tenants, in a broad sense. The Tenants focuses more on the customization side of things, however, allowing you to leverage your creativity to... uh, achieve maximum profit. All cheekiness aside, The Tenants is a joy to play, and there's a ridiculous amount of content present in the game already.

#7: Black Future '88

A rogue-lite side-scroller, Black Future '88 is a high-intensity shooter that'll keep you coming back for more through the sheer brutality of its action. Remarkably well-animated and faster than Sonic himself, Black Future is the way to go for those who are keen on platforming action more so than anything else.

#8: Hard West 2

Rarely does it happen that a sequel to a phenomenal niche game gets even better at nailing down this niche, but Hard West 2 accomplishes precisely just that. Think of this game as of a Weird West XCOM with a heavy role-playing slant. Battle it out with demons, bandits, wendigos, and other assorted monstrosities across roughly two dozen hours' worth of tactical combat. We recommend it!

#9: Phantom Doctrine

If Hard West 2 is a Weird West XCOMPhantom Doctrine is the Jason Bourne/Cold War riff on the concept. Make no mistake, Phantom Doctrine is not a perfect game by any means, but it is the perfect choice for a particular sort of player. Excuse its jankiness, and you're getting one of the best gaming spy warfare experiences this side of Alpha Protocol.

#10: Streets of Rogue

The only reason Streets of Rogue isn't higher on this list is that we're so ridiculously excited about its sequel that we find it hard to play the original. For those who haven't already spent dozens of hours playing the first Streets of Rogue, however, we cannot recommend the game enough. Its hectic randomness and truly wild variety will not leave you disappointed!
