DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero Gameplay

If you're familiar with the Budokai Tenkaichi games, you'll feel at home with the core setup and mechanics of Sparking! ZERO. What truly sets Sparking! ZERO apart, however, is its incredible speed. Budokai games have always been high-energy, but Sparking! ZERO elevates this intensity to a new level.

For those new to the series, Sparking! ZERO is a high-speed arena fighter where you control a team of Dragon Ball characters as they battle it out against other teams. You'll have melee attacks, ki blasts, and special moves at your fingertips, as well as teleporting attacks, cancels, and other intricate moves.

For the most part, the gameplay is pretty accessible. After just a few matches, you'll be executing rapid sequences of attacks, combining special moves and dodges, and switching characters seamlessly to adapt to the battle. Mastering the deeper systems and quirks of the game, however, is another matter. As you'd expect, the more you learn, the better the game becomes.

The fights look awesome in 3D, and you'll be able to test your skills against opponents online, or practice offline with friends in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber! And with various tournament modes and victory conditions, there are many paths to victory!

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Characters

Drawing from characters from DRAGON BALL Super, (including Jiren, Beerus, and Bergamo), as well as from media from the eighties and early nineties, Sparking! ZERO has a confirmed roster of 164 fighters, 24 0f which are variations of Goku and Vegeta. As such, this latest installment is set to become the most content-rich DRAGON BALL game ever made.

With all-time favourites such as the present-throwing Hercule Satan; the miniscule kid Gohan; and the time-travelling Super Saiyan Future Trunks, match ups are bound to be explosive. And also hilarious at times!
