eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 is the full title of the new PES game, slated for release on 10th of September, in just a few short weeks. The 19th consecutive PES release is, as its name may suggest, making a push in the online multiplayer arena. A bit of a change in how the franchise presents itself, to be sure.
Regardless, this is still going to be the PES 2020 we've all been expecting, except it will also come packed to the brim with exciting multiplayer functionality. Not only will this greatly enhance the game's content and longevity, but it may also mark PES as the undisputed leader in the genre.
While screenshots alone don't fully convey just how great PES 2020 will look, they're very close to photorealism. Even in close-ups, PES 2020 presents a level of visual fidelity that was practically science-fiction not a decade ago. The fact that this year's Pro Evolution Soccer will look great isn't surprising, however. While not everyone will enjoy the game's extremely robust online functionality, there's going to be plenty to do and have fun with in the classic singleplayer modes as well.
In fact, PES 2020 aims to deliver a completely revamped Master League experience, featuring an all-new dialogue system, a complete UI overhaul, and a vastly more realistic transfer market that's been made possible by using improved data integration software.
At the core of PES 2020 will be new and dynamic dribble mechanics, and improved first-touch techniques. New ball physics are just a cherry on top, really.
Those who'd like to delve into this sprawling football sim can already place a pre-order on two separate editions of the game. Buying eFootball PES 2020 before release nets you 1000 myClub coins as well as Andres Iniesta for your multiplayer team. As an added bonus, you will also get various additional myClub content that's coming with all standard editions of the game.
Super-fans of the franchise may instead opt for the Legendary Edition, which adds even more myClub goodies to the mix, including a special PES Legend Player and Ronaldinho 2019 to add to your roster right away.
If you're a fan of football games and are looking for something that'll push the envelope, now's your time. PES 2020 is coming out on September 10: stay tuned for more coverage as we go along.
