Monster Hunter: World Full Bloom Fest has finally arrived! The celebration of changing seasons brings a lot of of new things for hunters to enjoy. Including new bonuses, new armour sets for both yourself and your palico, sales, room decorations, and more. There is quite a bit of stuff to go through, but before we continue please note that most of Monster Hunter: World Bloom Fest content is exclusive to those who have purchased Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Owners of the base game will still receive some of the bonuses though. So let's check out what the Full Bloom Fest has in store for us!

Monster Hunter: World Bloom Fest daily login bonus

Full Bloom Fest

Just like the previous events, the Monster Hunter: World Bloom Fest brings special daily login bonuses. As with regular ones, they reset every game day so make sure to claim them regularly. Each daily login will grant you the following bonus items:

The Lucky Vouchers are the same as regular ones, granting you double the reward for successful expeditions. The Blossom Fireworks are an item that can be used during the hunt. As expected, when used it shoots a bunch of fireworks into the air and it looks awesome. Finally, the Full Bloom Ticket can be redeemed for parts of the special Full Bloom Fest armour set. But we'll talk more about it later on.

Monster Hunter: World Full Bloom Fest costumes

Unsurprisingly, the two NPCs who enjoy dressing up the most are also dressed up in the spirit of the season. For the duration of the Monster Hunter: World Full Bloom Fest you will notice the handler and Poogie looking quite dashing.

However, if you decide you want to change Poogie's appearance, it's as easy as interacting with it and going to the Change Clothes option. But why would you want to change it when this one looks so adorable?

Full Bloom Fest Armour sets

Monster Hunter World Iceborne Full Bloom Fest Rose Armor

We know why you're here. It's the most important part of any Monster Hunter: World event. The event armour, or in this case, the Rose Alpha armour set. As with previous events, the Rose Armour set has two variants. There is the regular armour, with stats and jewel slots, and there is the layered armour set.

To get the regular version of the Rose Armour set you will need the Full Bloom Tickets. You can get them as a daily login bonus and as a reward for completing bounties. Please note that those bounties change every day so make sure to keep checking up on them.

The layered version of the Rose Alpha armour set can be obtained with VIP Full Blossom Tickets. Unlike the regular version, the VIP Full Blossom Tickets are much more rare. They are a random drop at the end of an expedition. However, wearing the regular version of the Rose Alpha Armour set will give you a significant boost in drop rate. As will helping the hunters of low and high rank. The bonuses of wearing the armour and helping others stack. So if you want to maximise your drop chance make sure to have the Rose Alpha armour set equipped at all times and answer SOS flares.

The return of past Monster Hunter: World events

Monster Hunter World Iceborne Events

This is exciting news for all those who missed previous Monster Hunter: World events. As long as the Full Bloom Fest is in effect you'll be able to revisit them. And of course, gather any rewards or materials you might have missed. All of the previous events are available, but some of them are more noteworthy than others. For example, the Every Hunter's Dream event quest will grant you access to the Wyvern Ignition Greatsword. A terrifying weapon indeed.

Other armour and weapons available during the Full Bloom Fest

Monster Hunter Nargacuga

There are other special armour and weapon pieces you can obtain other than the Rose Armour set. First of which are the The Blooming Bouquet pendants. They come in 6 different colours, and each one of them requires 5000 Research Points and 2 VIP Full Bloom Tickets.

Furthermore, if you own the Assassin's Hood (an item from an earlier collaboration of the base game and Assassin's Creed), now you can finally upgrade it to Assassin's Hood+. Doing so requires you to go on a special quest and hunt for a tempered Nargacuga. A dangerous quest that will take you to the Ancient Forest. However, even though Assassin's Hood is obtainable in Monster Hunter: World base game, the quest to upgrade it is exclusive to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.

Finally, the events brings a special dual blades weapon – Whetfish Sabres. And yes, it is exactly what it sounds like. In order to get it you will require the following materials:

But that's not where it ends, as the weapon can be upgraded to the Whetfish Sabres+. To do so will require the following materials:

You can obtain the Whetfish Ticket by completing the A Fish to Whet Your Appetite quest. It requires you to fish up and deliver 2 Great Whetfish in the Wildspire Waste.
