Sonic X Shadow Generations is easily one of the most exciting Sonic titles we've seen in a decade. Not only is this a full remaster of the awesome Sonic Generations, but it also comes with a fancy new standalone campaign featuring Shadow the Hedgehog and his sworn nemesis, Black Doom.

This Sonic title promises a special something for everyone, then, and it's no surprise that fans of the franchise eagerly anticipate its release. On PC, in particular, you can bet we'll be playing the game on our PCs, Steam Decks, and other assorted gaming devices, so jot down the following date!

When is Sonic X Shadow Generations Coming Out on PC?

Sonic X Shadow Generations is set and primed to hit the stores on October 25, which is a Friday. This is phenomenal news for those of us who might be aiming to play the game over the weekend, of course! Remember, though, that the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game comes with three days' worth of advance access. You can read more about that right here at 2Game, too!

If you're even remotely interested in Sonic, you're going to want to join us as we celebrate the game's release this Friday. For those of you who enjoyed the original Generations back in the day, make no mistake: this is the game to play this weekend, and we've got no doubt that SEGA has delivered something truly special this time around.
