Today I want to turn your attention to an opportunity to get amazing deals for one of the best-selling franchises of all time. I'm talking of course about our Fallout series sale!
Fallout series will take you on a journey of survival through post-apocalyptic nuclear wastelands. From the original Fallout released all the way back in 1997 that revolutionised the CRPG genre to the online experience in Fallout 76, you will find all of the games at huge discounts at our Fallout series sale for this Black Friday. But first, let's take a look at what the wastelands have to offer!
Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 were the first games in the series, built as isometric (well, technically trimetric) role-playing games and a turn-based combat, that pioneered the ability to handle situations in multiple ways. Discarding the then-popular GURPS system in favour of its own SPECIAL system made it stand out among the competition as it offered something nobody else did. And as you might know, SPECIAL and multiple solutions quickly became its trademark. If you are a fan of Fallout and still haven't tried the originals, I urge you to do so! They hold up remarkably well. And even better, Fallout 1 and 2 are available as part of our Fallout series sale.
10 years after Fallout 2, the series stepped outside the vault and into the amazing 3D wasteland with Fallout 3. The development was picked up by Bethesda and given a complete overhaul. It was a huge change to the formula, trading 2D isometric world for 3D world with real-time combat. It kept what made the Fallout series so great, such as multiple solutions to every problem and the SPECIAL system, and added so much more on top of it. The most prominent addition being the „Vault-tec Assisted Targeting System“, or V.A.T.S. for short. It was described as a hybrid between real-time and turn-based combat. V.A.T.S. allowed the player to slow down time and choose the specific points of the enemy they wished to target. After that it was a simple matter of firing off a few bullets in them. V.A.T.S. system quickly became a fan-favourite trademark of the Fallout series.
Fallout 3 sale is part of our Black Friday sale going on right now, so why not pick it up!
It wasn't long after the success of Fallout 3 that Obsidian picked it up and brought us the next installment – Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas is technically a spin-off, but I still have to meet a fan that doesn't consider it a true part of the series. And with a good reason. Not only was it universally praised among players and critics for its outstanding writing and quests, it was also 2011's RPG of the year. Not to mention they managed to score Matthew Perry as the voice of its antagonist. Fallout: New Vegas sales are always a can't-miss deals, that's why we have one prepared for you.
In 2015 Bethesda released Fallout 4 and blew everyone away. With gameplay similar to Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, it featured the return of many things that made them great. The V.A.T.S. system was back and improved, the world grew bigger while keeping the depth of previous games, and combat and dialogue became smoother. But Fallout 4 also introduced novelties to the series. Layered armour system, base building, and a crafting system all helped to make it the best selling instalment on the market (and our Fallout series sale).
Fallout 4 boasts 111,000 lines of dialogue, 105 unique weapons that can be modified and crafted into countless variations by using over 700 modifications, 29 settlements that can be used as bases, and a crafting system that includes every single lootable object in the entire game. Now that's a lot of content, you better start soon!
In the most recent instalment of the series the world of Fallout got opened up to the online experience. Fallout 76 is Bethesda's first online multiplayer game and also the first multiplayer Fallout game. In Fallout 76 the player can take on the wasteland dangers alone or team up with up to three more players. The game boasts the world four times larger than that of Fallout 4 and is a representation of West Virginia. In it you can find recreations of real-world locations, such as The Greenbrier. New mutated monsters were also introduced, several of which were inspired by the West Virginian folklore. The Mothman is no less scary in Fallout 76 than it is in the real life. So why not grab a few friends and see if you can all survive together? Fallout 76 sale is also a part of our Black Friday sale with the following deals:
