If you haven't watched the official showcase, you may wish to catch up using the video featured here, but if you just want the hard facts, this is the place to be.

We've got the official system requirements, full download size, DLC coverage, and a wealth of other information contained down below. So, scroll on down to pore over it and prepare for a long, delightfully arduous trek back into Cyrodill!

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remaster is Out Now

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remaster is currently only available via Steam, though do stay tuned for 2Game availability as soon as we have it in store! With that out of the way, here are the key details.

Oblivion Remaster PC Hardware Requirements

It doesn't take more than a passing glance at the Oblivion Remaster to be able to tell that this is a massively upgraded game across the board. This means it's not going to run on the same tired old hardware that was necessary for the old original. In fact, you're going to need a fairly chunky sort of rig to be able to max it out. For those of us who were there on day one back in 2006, this is nothing new, but newcomers may be taken aback a tad.

Minimum PC System Requirements

Recommended PC System Requirements

As we said: TES 4: Oblivion Remaster is no slouch, though the good news is that the lower end of the supported hardware spectrum is definitely quite long in the tooth now. We'll have a comprehensive performance review of the game ready for you as soon as possible with performance tips, so stick with us!

Oblivion Remaster PC download size

Depending on your Internet speed, TES 4: Oblivion Remaster's massive download size may be the key blocker here. The game clocks in at just over 120 GB once installed, though our download over on Steam is 115.4 GB as of launch day.

What Content is Included in TES 4: Oblivion Remaster?

As you're probably aware, Oblivion had some astonishingly good post-launch content back in the day. Some questionable stuff, too, such as the infamous Horse Armor DLC, but that's a story for a different time.

The important bit here is that the upgraded Deluxe Edition of TES 4: Oblivion Remaster comes with the full suite of DLC for the original title, and then some:

Basically, every single bit of official TES 4 content is present and accounted for. The best possible scenario, if you're a franchise veteran!

With that all out of the way, we've got a huge amount of Oblivion Remaster content planned out for the rest of this week and beyond. Stick around the 2Game Community Hub and see what we've got for you as we go: we promise you won't be disappointed.

Horse armor included!
