Wondering what the best Two Point Hospital DLC is for you? Then read on! We've all had a bout of Cubism when we were kids, haven't we? You know, that one illness that turns you into a Picasso painting? If you were troubled by that episode, Two Point Hospital lets you treat this unusual illness, and the game's DLC adds even more weirdness to the mix. At its core, Two Point Hospital is about as serious as a Leslie Neilsen movie, and it's got the humor to match. This doesn't mean it's lacking in the gameplay department, though. Quite the contrary, it's one of the best hospital management sims ever made, and we're big fans of its post-launch DLC, too.
To start with, we've got Two Point Hospital at a healthy 13% discount, if you're in need of a Steam copy. You'll need the base game if you want to play the DLC, of course. Having said that, we think you may find this article interesting even if you don't want to play the game.
Aliens! And the bigfoot, too. And there's loads of other stuff already released and/or planned for future release. In short, whichever Two Point Hospital DLC you go for, it's hard to do wrong.
The tamest of them all is, for sure, Pebberley Island. Note that we stretch the definition of 'tame' to the max here. This DLC takes you, a famed hospital admin, to help out Wiggy Silverbottom sterilise a bunch of tropical islands. Quite unlike base game hospital scenarios, missions and regions found in Pebberley Island provide with shoddy recruits, horrid weather, and a set of impossible illnesses. What's not to like?
Bigfoot is a bit of a polar opposite of the Pebberley Island DLC. Both literally and metaphorically, in fact. This expansion pack takes you to a Himalaya-like castle/hotel/research institute/hospital where you must devise ways of treating stuff like Barking Madness, Bard Flu, and severe cases of Knightmares. Bigfoot (bigfeet?) may appear periodically, too. New staff hiring mechanics and a different monetisation system provide a varied set of challenges, and the entirely revamped aesthetics help with making the atmosphere uniquely interesting.
Finally, Close Encounters is the latest major content pack released for Two Point Hospital, and it's also the weirdest one yet! This is, of course, due to its subject matter. After all, treating extraterrestrial illnesses is no laughing matter. This DLC takes place in an Arizonian Area 51-alike, an will expose you to a vast variety of unexpected stuff.
Truth be told, if you enjoy the core gameplay mechanics of Two Point Hospital, you'll be interested in all of the above. The developers, Two Point Studios, know exactly what makes this game tick, and they keep adding to the base formula relentlessly. Best of all, you can find a variety of Two Point Hospital DLC discounts here at 2Game. Just follow the links above to find up to 20% off on some releases!
If you're more particular about spending your time in Two Point Hospital, we do have recommendations, though. First off, note that each of these content packs comes with an all-new set of gameplay parameters to keep in mind. Whereas you'll find various staff-related issues in Pebberley, finances will be more difficult in Bigfoot, for example. While all of the content in Two Point Hospital is ridiculous, Close Encounters takes the cake, we think. It all comes down to whether you're into aliens, tropics, or big feet. We won't judge.
In our experience, though, it's hard to go wrong with any of the major Two Point Hospital DLCs. It's more Two Point Hospital, with a unique skin and gameplay mutators. When all is said and done, that's exactly what we wanted to see, and we're very much looking forward to more!
